DNA examinations at Genos Laboratory adhere to stringent operational standards established by the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods (SWGDAM). Our commitment to quality extends to using equipment and materials dedicated solely to forensic DNA identification laboratories, meeting the rigorous standards outlined in ISO 18385. The confidentiality of data and sample information is guaranteed, reflecting Genos Laboratory’s compliance with stringent protocols for privacy and security.
DNA examinations are exclusively conducted in-house at Genos Laboratory, eliminating the involvement of third party subcontractors. With a team comprising highly trained, professional, and experienced personnel with over 15 years of expertise in this field, we are confident in the dedication and competence of our team to provide accurate and reliable results.

Scientific Advisor
Prof. dr. Herawati Sudoyo, M.S., Ph.D
Prof. Herawati served as Deputy Director of Fundamental Research at the Eijkman Institute (1993–2021). She also led the Forensic DNA Unit and headed as Principal Investigator at the Genome Diversity and Genetic Diseases Unit. She is currently affiliated with the Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology. Her expertise focusing in human forensic DNA and mitochondrial DNA as genetic markers in Indonesian populations.
